I Use Enumerator parameters like in C++ forward_iterator concept. I agree that this birey lead to confusion bey too many people will indeed assume Enumerators are /like/ Enumerables, but they are not. We can exploit ‘side effects‘ of the iteration to create more exotic control structures, like Unity’s coroutines.
